Bio:
Jaehyun Kim is a University of Nebraska – Kearney (bet36365体育) alumni who majored in aviation before completing a Master of Arts in Education. He brings professional experience as a flight instructor at Grand Island High School, serving as a contract pilot, and completing military experience in the Republic of Korea Air Force as a hydraulic mechanic, airplane fueler, scheduler, and line technician for a local base operation. As a Certified Flight Instructor and a Commercial Pilot with instrument and multi-engine ratings, he enjoys helping aviation students become pilots.

What do you like about teaching?
I like teaching because I can help make a difference in individual academic and professional careers. By connecting with students, I convey to students my knowledge and inspire them with the passion of aviation. Students who eagerly want to become pilots give me joy and excitement from their growth.
Why is learning to fly important?
You want to do it right. The aeronautical knowledge and skills for flight come from multiple hours of studying and flight training, and this helps pilots conduct safe flight operations. Learning happens nonstop, especially in aviation. Faculty and Certified Flight Instructors help students learn in an environment where they can leave and continue to fly safely on their own.
